Sorry to get your thread off track here, Slash, but:
He/SOW (apparently) has a Dodge Neon SRT 4. Yep, little 4 banger. I did a little research, and see a Stage 4 SRT (and stage 4 is a shit-ton of work done) top out at about 178mph.

Car and Driver magazine put the top speed of the car at 153.

Car and driver don't know shit-they didn't red line the car or add any upgrades. they have neons hitting over 200 with just a bigger turbo and a gear change. At 155-160 I had another 1500-2000 rev left. The car is very slippery too. I did a gear ratio look and it can hit 179+. Ya I should just go to loring and tow my vfr 800 and show you how it is done!:bull_head::chaingun::nelson::first::vfrshorty::pisser::spider::strong::flamer::baby::boxing2:

Pretty sure Car and Driver knows how to accurately measure the top speed of any given automobile, it's kinda their thing. 180mph is certainly achievable with a properly set up SRT4, but photographic or video evidence is much more powerful than "It can, I swear!" Also, "just a bigger turbo" is far-fetched. There would more than likely need to be an entire cast of supporting mods for the aftermarket hair dryer. Fuel pump, injectors, possibly an aftermarket intercooler to efficiently cool a greater volume of air, ECU piggyback or stand alone upgrade, not to mention the tune job needed to safely operate at higher boost levels, etc. Impressive little cars when built correctly though. Ugly, but impressive.

Slash2 it looks like Don Guhl has found the final ECU restriction to remove the top speed limiter on both the F & the DCT. I have sent my ECU back to Don for a updated re-flash and when I verify the restriction is gone with a dyno test he will incorporate this feature in his re-flash if desired. Looks like you can get past that 155 limiter now if you want to. :biggrin-new:

I usually do not respond (actually almost never) to to this kind of crap but you are an unusually viscous POS who feeds on the negative crap you can stir up. Seems you have nothing constructive to contribute to this or any other VFR 1200 related conversation. Sooner or later a bottom feeder like you shows up on every internet site. You thrive on insulting others and that being said the best way to handle you is for members of this site to completely ignore you. If you don't get the attention you crave you will go somewhere else where you do get it, say the VFR 800 site.
