Haha actually I had SOW over for a few beers one day and snapped this when he wasn't looking.

And yes 5150 is a Van Halen reference (also police code for "involuntary psychiatric hold").

    2001 ford ranger edge 4.0 4x4.
Too many mods to list, but 5" of lift and 33" Goodyear's, various performance mods and Hurst shifter.

Also for the time being is a 2001 civic ex 2 door coupé. (For sale) nothing special, no mods.

Next up, newer Camry or camaro.

Surprised you could figure out anything in that post with all those typos. I think one of the moderators is screwing around with my posts!

I do like those old Monzas though. AN acquaintance of mine back in early puberty days, when we used to drink Canadian Club Rye whiskey at bush parties, and a late 60's I think. Burgundy with a white rag top. I don't know much about the performance issues on these cars I must admit. I also thought the Vega looked neat. Power train was crap but they did fix up nice if you had the money and know how.

My dream car would be a 59 or even a '60 Impala Convertible. Orgasmic! Even a '62 would not be too bad. But would rather have that in a 2 door coupe.

I especially like how they placed the flags over "V" badge on the rear bonnet, right nice and neat with the chrome "V" shaped truck molding. lrmp_0903_02_z+1961_chevrolet_impala_convertible+model_in_front.jpg

    I'm 26 and have had...um...14 cars?

Only one wrecked, a 1991 Ford Taurus SHO. (Lady ran a red and totaled it) Loved that car, my first when I was 16. No picture, sorry.

'94 BMW 325i, '91 Taurus SHO, and an '01 Mustang Cobra (below) are the only notable ones.

I was infatuated with that car. Wife said it had to go, then tells me she misses it months after I sold it......argh....

Now I have a Ford 500 and an Escape. The Escape is a 4 cyl, 5-speed 4x4. Which I hear is very rare. Slow, but fun. Especially on snow.

I'm not sure if this is weird or wrong but I really liked this generation of mustang over any current models. Second only to the 71 fastbacks.

    My current cages:

65 El camino with a 383 stroker and detroit locker rear. Just cracked the block on the motor though
67 Chevelle - no motor yet - looking for an LSx motor and working up the courage for the mods necessary to fit it.
09 Pontiac G8 GT is my daily driver
08 Tundra 4x4 - my work (and play) truck.

No worries about repost. Our search feature sucks:
    http://vfrworld.com/forums/showthread.php/33145-What-car-do-you-drive

I've given up using our advanced search and I just go to google and type in my search terms followed by vfrworld and I have better luck.

Oh, and since you asked. I rarely drive unless going somewhere with wife but if I do it's in 07 fusion or old 95 tahoe. I do have 75 fiat but it has become a garage ornament for SLOVFR. He's holding it hostage I think.

We sat on the fenders and drank beer while We were there! That little gem has some great potential Reg. I wished I had a shop big enough to accommodate working on cars. But wrenching greasy engines and doing wood work on expensive semi exotic woods simply does not mix.

Come to think of it, I have a 1" X 6" piece of rosewood 5 feet long that I bought for about a hundred bucks many years ago that would make a really nice dash panel for that car.

Sure are a shitload of big inch "classics" here from guys who are only getting 20.0004 mpg on their VFRs.

IMO a 64 Studebaker Lark ragtop ain't no classic.

Squirrelbrains can't afford a car or another insurance, but will drive this antique on selected summer days after my partial engine rebuild is done. Haven't had it on the road since 1983, was my main hobby before i got into 'cycles.

1964 Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 Spider Veloce.

Lookin for wood? The wooden wood, not the wood kind of, if it would but ya could wood, are give away, free or haul off pianos. Sometimes those old beaters are solid. A shop with a veneer slicer/dicer will sometimes trade oot wood for labor and shop time.

Could have made a bundle in my Campbell River days if I had one of those nenere cutters. Had lots of maple and fir burls, a few 4' in diameter kicking around. Made a 2'x4'x3" thick solid fir burl table. Georgeous piece. First wife kept that.

Ex-wives do get the best slices off the top of things.. A guy in my club has a patron he builds furniture for. One of those rich guys that has so many pesos, cost is no object. He will fly the guy in my club to as far as South America to buy wood.. The guy in my club has one of those German made veneer slicers. I saw it a couple of times. Big pesos.. The guy in my club is Greg Scott who is the most anal dude ever born. He does great work on the same level as Sam Maloof but I don't think Sam (RIP) felt that sanding raw wood with 600 grit was necessary.

Lots of really fine woodwork done in this part of the country. This up to the point of the dudes that will build a really great looking burl piece than slosh epoxy or polyester resin on it so much that the wood looks like plastic. One shining example are the clock faces that not only have the plastic look but have really cheesy hands and numerals.. One guy here is a fine craftsman, turner ect. He blew in from the middle west somewhere and started showing me some of those turned pens. Here these are middle school intro pieces for kids. His had an odor.. He was using walnut oil as a finish and it had turned rancid. Not much shelf life on the stuff.. Great on salads if fresh..
