Power Commander Auto Tune Question

    I followed the marble thread and just installed a marble. My idle went to shit, so I think it worked. Is there really any reason to remove the PAIR system when the marble blockage does the trick?

    Not really.


    Did the idle just drop or something else? should have given you a rock solid idle regardless of rpm.

    It just dropped. sorry i should have phrased that better. its my understanding when the pair is disabled correctly, the idle dropped, so i meant that it seemed to confirm that it was working.

    I increased the idle and now it looks good. PC V says it idles around 1275, sometimes going to 1185 (rarely) and often jumping to 1345.

    I keep my RPMs set just under 1500 because my charging voltage takes a leap from 13.2 to 14.3 at that point.

    Let us know if you feel a difference in take off & puttering around under 3000 RPM now...it should make a significant difference. Just don't expect full throttle response below about 2800, but part throttle down to 2000 should be much better.
