    I have a 2006 (non abs) model and just blew my headlight/gauges fuse for the second time in a week. It seems to happen every time I ride over rough pavement. I was wondering if anyone has or is experiencing this problem and what the problem may be.

    You've most likely got a wire that has chafed through the insulation and is shorting to ground when you hit a bump.

    Thanks rode2rouen, but my bike is 2 months old with less than a thousand miles on it. If a wire is chaffed in that short of time, I'm not getting the so called Honda Quality. I was messing with this this morning and think it may me a loose connector in the top brake light.

    Hello Hawk;

    This should be covered under warranty, and if its not I would climb the ladder at Honda untill you get satisfaction. No circuits should be experiencing overloads even once, given how new your bike is. Continued replacing of the fuse is only masking the problem.
