With new tire rules next year I would not be surprised if JL goes back to his old winning ways and have some battles with MM. Rossi could very well be in the middle of that too with different tires. He has shown he can adapt the Yamaha to these tires much better than JL. On to Germany! 9 in a row?!!

As much as it gets boring seeing the same winner race after race, I'd love to see MM take 9 of 9! As far as DP, he's a great rider, just doesn't seem to have the stars lined up for him year after year.

I think DP is an excellent rider but just not quite enough balls when it starts getting dicey. If he gets away at the front he can be gone.

I can see that, although he did have the balls with MM at CAT, touching MM's rear wheel! The most impressive ride I seen him do, was I believe during the last year Stoner was with Honda, I can't remember the race, but he actually had to start from pit lane and he came back and won the race. I did help him that JL crashed out but nice ride none the less!

    German Gp Spoiler*******************************

Unstoppable as usual. MM breaks the track record (Stoner's) takes pole and flogs the rest for 9 straight wins. Incredible,I hope most are aware we are watching history in progress. And the start of the race was the by far the most bizarre I have ever seen. 14 riders starting on pit row! The start looked so weird, Bradyl all by himself and a few bikes at the back of the grid. Nick Harris also said he has never seen anything like it. The battle out of pit row was crazy scary.

Yes, definitely a season of first and bizarre racing starts, but yesterday's race took the cake. More riders starting from pit lane than on the grid! Personally I would like to to see MM beat or match GA's record, I thought they said that he beat Mike Hailwoods 1964 record for the youngest rider to win the first 9 races or something like that.

That was the shazizzle....what... the most bizarre beginning of a race I have ever seen... how is that even fair the way they started from pit row? That move MM made around the left at the start was epic...this kids got balls of magnesium...to keep down on weight ;)....... definitely watching history in the making... down the road will be saying yeah..remember MM won 9 in a row....hope its more!!!!..
Felt bad for Bradyl....he a great rider..hope he doesnt beat himself up to much getting passed like he did......
thought that maybe the bridesmaid DP... was going to grow a few and put the hammer down
    Now to watch Laguna. :D

    lol, Mag Nads.

Bradyl going backwards was not his problem. A friend of mine said it well.

"I don't think anyone who's ridden on the LCR team has been happy -- not Stoner, not DePuniet, and now, Bradl is getting the shaft. LCR should lose their factory machine. You put the kid on the grid and they switch to slicks but don't adjust the bike for dry conditions? He's running wet settings on slick tires. This was a fail before it even started."

Absolutely, but the question is why did they have the bike set up with wet settings with slicks on it? Wet or dry its not going to work.

The bike went to the grid with a wet set up, the changes were made on the grid. They were trying to switch the shock, fork springs, and wheels in a 5 minute span....they dropped a shock spacer during the change and by the time they found it, they didn't have time to replace the fork springs....they didn't go to the grid under the impression they were going to run a dry set up. It was a gamble, they did their best, and it didn't work out. That's racing.

BTW, LCR is one of the best satellite teams on the grid with full factory Honda support, so your claim that the team should lose their factory bike is debatable. Their podium at Laguna in 2013 and a host of other worthy finishes throughout the existence of this team should bear that out. Compare that to Gresini with Alvaro and you might think differently......

I have been following LCR, the above quote is a friends rant after the race about how they could have let a bike go out with such an improper set up. I think they should have switched bikes and been in the pit row madness.

The gamble was that they would gain enough of an advantage and be able to manage it for the win....Bradl was up 8+ seconds after the first sector times.....that didn't last with a wet set up in the forks...Marquez pulled back almost a full second the first full lap.....Rossi was another who was well of the pace of the front three...19 seconds back from Marquez at the finish and 9 seconds back of Lorenzo in 3rd, maybe they should sack him too?

Now that Pedrosa has almost fully recovered from his arm pump surgery and Lorenzo appears to have turned a corner, Rossi is back to his familiar place of 4th.....

Lol, yeah Rossi had nothing for JL. The pass in the wet corner on Rossi was brave, tiny patch of dry........

Even with a standing-on-his-head crash in qualifying, Marquez still poles and still wins.

WSBK race 2 with 2 red flags. Lowes crash into Baz at the top of the cork screw was scary. Have not heard how he is.
