Just picked up the bike tonight. It's an 08 w /abs. 1500 miles and warranty still in force. Nice ride home. My second bike is an 05' Superhawk. Both quite different and both quite nice! I have a question and I've checked the owners manual and found nothing. It's a switch located just below the clipons on the right side horizontal inter fairing. It's a high/off/low switch. I included a pix. What's it for?

2nd vote for heated grips. I think it's unlikely but it could be a manual fan switch. Take a look at the battery & see if there is anything other than the factory cables. If so follow 'em & see what they lead to. Definitely something a previous owner installed.

They are heated grips. Bought the bike from a dealer who bought it out-rite from the original owner. I guess they didn't know or forgot to list it in their ad. One less thing I have to add.

SOW is going to install a similar switch on his bike, but his will be a tampon remover.

I have an S2000 Honda. Fell in luv with the vtec. Now I get to hear it twice as much. I plan on installing a full Delkevic system. I test drove an 04' with it and it sounded great. Will I need a PC or will the FI adjust?

You'll probably need the PC. I believe (?) when you replace the system with the Delkevic, you'll lose the 02 sensors on your current set up. Technically, you could bypass those 02 sensors by installing 330ohm resistors (for about $1). But, if you're looking for all the "advantages" of the full system (less weight, better sound, a tad more HP), why not splurge and get the PC as well?

Ok, so first day on the new bike in the twisties. Very nice, but wow, lots more work keeping the bike on boil. I'm use to the Hawk which lets you barely shift or brake, just use that big V twin for both. Different but just as much fun!!!
