Hi all. I was looking for a 5th Gen, but couldn't get as good a finance deal as I could on a 2 year old 6th Gen.

So this morning I signed the papers on a 2005 model in the really bright red, with 3200km (2000 miles) on the clock for $13000AUD. It's also got a set of locally made (Melbourne, Australia) Madaz pipes, which sound awesome.

I pick the bike up in a week, so hope to have some pics up soon.

    Hi NYMBYSS.

Do you mean you have Madaz pipes, and paid that much...?

I paid $13kAUD for the bike, so I'm happy with the deal.

I am already planning my mods, hehe

Chomper, I have uploaded a pic to the Member Galleries/Winaje album. It's off the 'net sales listing, so not very good quality. I'll upload more later...

Agreed. One Hell of a nice machine .
Still one of the only bikes I've seen , where i stop to drop off a Dvd at a rental store , and I have people standing outside begging me to run it to 8000 rpm JUST to hear the engine note change to that sound we all love Most !! .

Well at least the rain will give you some time to get the bike adjusted. I thought that it didn't rain much in Australia - hopefully it won't last long. I was there a few years ago for work. I flew into Sydney than traveled up the Gold Coast - very nice country. Anyhow congratulations on the bike. You won't be disappointed.

Hi Stew... Hopefully the rain lasts about 3 months, as we are in dire straits with lack of water. I'd happily wait for that long to ride if we had that much rain.

Anyway, as you said, tomorrow is adjustment day.
