Also, your lights went out by design. When you press start, it kills all non-essential electronics in order to give all available power to the starter. Lights are non-essential when starting.

She will be fine, if you worry about the electrical issue just check all the wires for burn marks everytime you change the oil.
Or just give the bike to be so I can keep an eye on the issue
Keep on riding Bro. ATGATT :thumb:

Leave the poor guy alone... he is concerned about his baby as we all are when we do things we aren't sure about.

I used to run a tank bag on the viffer when I first got it, on full lock up the starter button would hit the buckle of the tank bag. Like Squirrel sed aboove, no worries. I did turn off a bike on a morning commute in the fog once, was trying to straighten oot a key fob fuk-up with some remotes that are attached to my chit. Next thing I know, I am coasting along in the dark, I turned the key back on and "Houston, we don't have a problem."

I believe that would give you a loud BANG. Some people used to turn off their bikes while traveling through a tunnel here and then re-start them with WOT and "Bang" a far oot back fire, sometimes with flames. :rockband: its all good in the neighborhood.
