Hey, here's another question for you guys...

our 84-86 500cc interceptors have 2 dual brightness brake light bulbs, and annoying rear turn signals on stalks.

how hard would it be to flash the brake bulbs individually for turn signals, to eliminate the rear turn signal stalks?

    thanks!

Just did this on a 1000R (dual round taillights) with pretty much that exact unit. Worked good. About $8 on Amazon.

Some states want the turn signal to be amber not red for motor vehicles. In those states, a flashing brake light will not be legal. Check your local code first. Some sleeping cagers may not pick up a blinking red an intention to turn. I know trailers are different. You could maybe use some amber LED's in the lens housing to act as signals?

this is more of what i want to do. im actually looking for an LED board that will fit in the '86 vf500 brake light housing with tail, brake, AND turn signals in it.

i have superbright LED brake light bulbs in there now, but i dont like the long rear turn signal stalks and want to eliminate them :/

I removed the rear signal stalks and installed orange superbright 4-bulb LEDS (cheap on eBay) right inside the rear light housing. Looks great, is legal and no "extra" wiring necessary.
