Why the hell don't shops and cycle gear carry this stuff? Am I missing something? After burning through my last can of PJ1 (never buying again as it collects crud and flings goop everywhere). I picked up a few cans of DuPonts wax/Teflon whatever is in there Chainsaver as well as some of their branded degreaser. Cleaned the vfr's chain and applied Chainsaver and let dry. Took the vfr out today and logged about 300 miles of rain, some gravel roads etc... My rear wheel and swingarm are covered in crap but the chain still looks about as clean as when I left

+1 to Randy & Aimbot9000. Check your local Walmart. Seen the Dupont stuff at some automotive parts stores as well.

Yeh, Walmart has it, last time I looked though, they had the travel sized can, not the "grande" one. One of my favorite products, replaced one from Bel-Ray that I used to love, but the Dupont stuff is by far better.

This is all I use but cant find in a can around here. I use the bottle of oil ..which is real easy to apply. My chain has 1800 and still looks new...but being OCD helps

Home Depot has it also. I'm down to no dealer visits now. WD40/Dupont at HD. Oil ordered via Amsoil. Oil filters, or OEM parts, internet :D

I hate to break the news to you but Dupont "Chain Saver" is now different and the original "Dry wax lubricant" is no longer made. http://www.webbikeworld.com/t2/dupont-motorcycle-chain-lube-2012/

I went looking last week and found out. Though I do have part of an old can still. I also bought another "Black" bottle of chain saver for mt trip. I just squirt on top of the chain at on the rear sprocket. Lube gets to bottom of sprocket tooth and lubes chains underside. Been working fine for me.

Now to find it. SOME not all Lowe's stores carry it in stock only the bottle. No Depot. Bicycle shops should and Ace Hrdwr I think does. If you find it else where how about letting us know, please.

Not all Walmarts carry the stuff. Only Walmart, DuPont and the dude from Pakistan in customer service knows why.

I just went on to the DuPont website. Man, you can get chain saver in sizes ranging from 4 ounces all the way up to 5 gallons!

Somebody asked why dealers do not stock the DuPont chain maintenance products. They will eventually but will be likely limited to aftermarket outfits. The manufacturer labeled products are what the dealers sell.

DuPont may have minimum orders of X # of pesos and are playing the waiting game letting the online sellers and aftermarket brick and mortar stores come around. The DuPont dudes are sharp. For all we know they may be salting the mine... This for the conspiracy freaks...;)

All WalMarts do not carry the stuff. WalMarts have several sizes of stores and it could be the same dude who makes the decisions on what color a given bike will be someplace may be making the decisions on this one too.

The WalMart near my place in Ogeron does not stock either product. The next closest Walmart which is about 40 miles down the road does. What is odd is that the Walmart near my place is adjacent to Highway 101. and there are a shitload of bikes on 101 for aboot six months a year.
