    Hi All,

I have an '05 which has badly corroded/rusted lines going to the oil cooler. I have found a set from an '03 but can't find if they will fit the '05. The guy selling them said that Honda has different part numbers listed for each year.

Does anybody have experience with these?

    Thanks

Honda updates their part numbers regularly which might explain why he saw two different part numbers listed Honda00. According to the info that I have the oil cooler lines for both the '03 and '05 are exactly the same.

New part number for the right side oil line is 15650-MCW-D02 and new part number for the left side oil line is 15660-MCW-D02.

Thanks a million. I think I'll buy them and hope for the best. Does anyone know about the O-Rings for these?

    1. Can you use any O-Rings from a kit (that fit obviously) or are they special?

    2. Is there any harm in re-using the old ones if they seem ok?

As far as I know there's nothing particularly special about them. They aren't super high temp or high pressure O rings.

When rubber goes through enough heat cycles it forms to it's compressed shape and loses it's elasticity and becomes hard so if you try to reuse the old O rings there's no guarantee that they'll seal properly again and you'll end up doing the same job twice.

It's up to you Honda00 but it's always best to replace used O rings, they're relatively cheap and it's simple enough to do.

I would def use new factory o rings, they are designed to tolerate the heat and oil. Most o rings sold at parts stores are only design to cope with water/coolant only.
