What "generation" is my newly acquired 1993 VFR in?

Naa. The generation thing is made up. Generation applies to humans. An example: "For Sale, a 3rd generation Honda VFR" . For Sale, a 1993 Honda VFR". Which ad is going to get the larger response? What generation implies is that all 1990-1993 Honda VFRF's were identical.
