Lookin good! Now how are the electrics, 03's have an issue with wires and connectors. If you need new connectors, and want water/dust proof (ip67 and ip68 compliant) let me know. I have and can get good replacements. As long as you dont want oem.

Hit send before finish the post...

And powder coated the foot controls. Really loving the bike, this one has 45k miles which is ok with me the precious one had 65k+ miles before. I tried something different this time and blacked out the turn signals and headlights. Not for everybody but what the heck :)

Are you referring to the connection between the stator and rectifier? I put VFRness on my second one but I haven't checked the connections nor the voltage to see if a have a resistance problem.

    Welcome aboard.

Actually, I think he was referring to the wiring harness recall that was issued on the 02-05 models. Something in the front of the bike. You can call any Honda deal, and they should be able to run your VIN and tell you if the recall was done. Sometimes there was apparently a hole punch or similar in the VIN sticker that would show the recall was complete, but never hurts to call.

And I won't even try to type on my phone. I got fingers like kielbasa. Anything I type would actually look like Polish/Russian.

recall, whole engine harness, main power harness.

It all seems to be just under gauged for the loads. as for connectors, mostly r/r and stator, but also fuse box and battery connectors.

definately check/get the front recall done.
