If the SC could be done with stock injectors I can't see the NOS needing more. I wonder if the issue really is limitations on the tune capabilities of the PC5.

As to wheels, I have to agree that gold looks GREAT with the red paint.

The solution then is obvious. Do the wheels first for the cool factor and a mock up of the NOS system for that badass look. The only other thing that comes to mind is a manifold pressure gauge and a short chunk of tubing stuck to your tank with Velcro.

The gauge is stuck to the tank with Velcro. The open end of the tubing is hidden. The setup is just for looks until all this other stuff gets done. Velcro is great stuff for stickers too. I mentioned this to a guy at a bike night one time. He had a Dunlop sticker on his bike and was running Avons.

Yes it does. The OD of the tubing should not exceed the diameter of the face of the manifold pressure gauge.

The wheels are from Carozzeria. The rear is a modified Ducati superbike wheel and the front is a standard CBR600RR wheel I think. I cannot recall right now. I kind of wish I had gotten the gold ones, but the silver ones are close to the color of the frame spars.

I agree 100%. thinking I am going to go gold when I do mine. have not decided for sure but probably going to do a flat clear over mine. I did this gold with gloss clear a while back for some boat parts and really like it, but I;m not much on glossy wheels. I need to shoot some samples with flat and satin clear coats and see what I like better. $80 a wheel with clear is a good deal as long as they are reputable, I usually get around $225a pair for that.

used it on my dads truck wheels , red f250 and it looks pretty good

Honda 90 VFR wheels were Summer Blonde Metallic. Its a light gold, kinda subtle. In my opinion, very cool with dark colors.

Well-thought post... completely agree with it. Dark gold/bronze will look great with the candy red.
