I think we need Sunowolf to update his drops. I think I recall one of his posts where he said over 20, either with or without sliders. It should also be motorcycle law that him and Long cannot get within 100 feet of each other. Catastrophic events will undoubtedly happen.

Fucking dusty roads got intimate with my new ride. Sharp turn at like 3mph, was barely applying any power. Nothing major, but I was pretty ticked off. Tweaked the fork, busted the clutch lever, bent the shifter.

I dropped the vfr only once so far on a sharp turn at 1 mph and used my foot as a slider. I got off with a bent clutch lever and a peg feeler broke that's about it for the vfr. I have put only 400 miles on the VFR :blabla::smokin:bike. On my R6 Yamaha I put on maybe 30,000 and dropped it a lot. On the R6 I even ride it in the winter on glare ice, so no wonder I dropped the bike a lot. The R6 had frame, bar end, and rear frame sliders and is a light bike, so dropping it didn't mean anything happened to the bike.

The catharsis here is less psychological or philosophical than medical. As in taking a dump..

I almost added another drop to my total this past Sunday. My wife and I were meeting our MC club at the local honda dealer parking lot for a group ride....we pulled in, I stopped and put my right foot down on an unseen rock(I think my wife also moved to the right at the same time preparing to get off the bike), the rock rolled under my foot and the next thing I knew I'm at a 45 degree angle straining to keep us from falling. Luckily my wife did a quick, jackie chan roll/twist thingy off the bike and helped me right it. If she hadn't done that, you would be adding another one to my list. Of course the members who were already there got a good laugh watching all of this.....and I had to endure a few jokes. But in the end, I didn't drop it so all is good.

I think Randy may be doing some hacking to impersonate Sonofwoof. The dude is clearly the winner of any drop contest ever and Randy is just jealous and pissed for getting knocked off the throne..

1976 KZ 400. ( 1 ) Took of on a incline and killed it. Down she went, nothing hurt but my pride. 85 VF 700. Got home from a long ride in the rain. Parked in the yard to run inside for a second. When I got back outside it was laying on its side. Kick stand had sunk in the MUD. Had to have been a nice slow lay down. No damage just had to adjust the mirror. Dirt and MX not included.

Nice save. Your wife that is. My wife has made it perfectly clear to me that my bike shall remain a single occupancy vehicle.

I do stay busy off site you know. Often correcting dumb errors I make trying to fix my bike alone.
