I had bought this exhaust for use on an anticipated purchase of a 1984 VF750F but instead ended up with a 1986 VFR750F (now being restored) so the exhaust is not going to be used.

Would the expert forum members here be kind enough to provide some insight into what this system might be worth in todays marketplace?

I've lost my original paperwork and need a basic idea what I should ask for it.

Will then put it up for sale--will place in for sale section thanks to members suggesting a current value.

    Regards with thanks

I never even heard of that brand. Do you know how long it was produced? I know I've seen the Hindle exhaust for the 500's go for as much as 1000 bucks. Not saying it's worth that but wouldn't be surprised if it did be a pretty coin.

I am fairly certain that YES it has been refinished--which is how I was fooled when I bought it from a seller who said it was New Old Stock.

When I opened the box however I find that what I had bought as NEW was in fact used but nicely RE-CONDITIONED if you know what I mean.

Exhaust has no collapsed header pipes or scrapes / scratches but as I've shown in pix has two or three small dings from??? (stones or shelf wear or ???).

    Thank you for your inquiry.

Did you see if it would fit the 86?

That exhaust is most definitely not for the 86 VFR

Agree with CB-1 in that there's most likely NO WAY it will fit the 1986 VFR. :(.

WISH it would but think not.

Would prefer that a member have this piece but if not will be going to E-Bay this weekend.

Feel free to make a "reasonable" offer. Never know I just might say YES!!!!!!!

If it does go to ebay price will ultimately be higher due to having to cover Fleecebay fees.

Thank you to those who have helped.

    Regards

    Ricardo
