VFR Nightmares

Has anyone ever had a nightmare about something happening to their VFR?

 

Several, all having to do with another R/R failure.

 

I lived that one... good thing for the kindness of strangers.

Last week I had a dream I came out of a bar in the morning, after a hard night of partying, to find my bike missing. After asking around someone pointed me down the street to a group of kids. I walked down the street and asked them if they had seen it and they pointed to two small pieces laying on the ground. One was the fork tree and a few feet away was the bare frame! One word: Violated! I kept trying to figure out how I was going to rebuild it and how much it was going to cost! I was yelling at the top of my lungs at these kids, ready to kick ass or get my ass kicked; I didn't care!

I must have woke up a few times that night, feeling like I'd been kicked in the gut, just to realize it was a dream. Every time I went back to bed I relived that moment. I told my girl about it and of course she can't really sympathize with me... probably because of referring to my bike as my second girlfriend (SECOND) multiple times.

This may be a sign of some attachment issues... might have to dump the girlfriend.

No dream for me, unfortunatly when bad thing happen it was real :sad:
I wish that was a bad dream.

 

Never had a nightmare, only time I think about the VFR in my sleep are the first night home after a 3-4 day tour where I re-live the roads and riding the VFR in my dreams. If it was raining on the trip wonder if it'd be called a....

 

I had a nightmare that I was riding mine on a trip all over the Pacific South West for 5 weeks. Seems no matter what I tried, the bike just kept taking me all over the place. Mexico, San Diego, Phoenix, Yosemite Park. Thousands of miles. Just ride ride ride. Then I realized it was not a nightmare at all.

 

one night I dreamed I woke up and someone had replaced my VFR with a Harley....

 

Bet you awoke in a cold sweat!

 

And screaming!

 

Ditto, fortunately my body didn't get as beat up as the bike.

 

Those dreams are referred to as NIGHTMARES:scared:
