In Oz, we use the Harleydoods to our advantage:

We let them go up through the twisty roads first (we give them a few minutes head start) so the cops pull them over. While the cops are searching for drugs and illegal guns, we fly past at whatever speed we like, safe from getting nabbed for exceeding the speed limit...

 

Here we call it "rabbiting". Works on harleydoods and cagers too. Ya pick a spot and blow by some dude on a Harley or a cage with cage with a bunch of stickers and shit on it. The dudes are not about to let some other dude riding Jap Crap out do them. They take off like the Enterprise going into warp drive and see rabbit run. Works most of the time..

 

On your mountain bikes?
