    Hi,

Question regarding FI light if anyone has experience with this, it flashes on at times- riding today with full beam on at 5000rpm in 5th and it was on constantly faded..... when beam off and I indicate right it flashes on for a second, that dosnt happen when i indicate left!? Also appears sometimes blinking on when I break, or under hard acceleration, then at other times under all these conditions it stays off--

Im guessing I have a bad conncection or earth somewhere what should I do to rectify- BTW iv ordered a haynes manual but it wont arrive untill the end of week, I bought a multimeter and tested the battery at rest and ticking over, it seems fine. I havnt done the stator test yet.

Find tip over black box and see if tapping on it makes light come on or go off. I know you can count the number of blinks and based on the amount you count there is a code that jibes up with it. Good luck and keep us posted.

its a tip over switch/black box, usually small, shuts off power in the event of a tip over/crash. You get the picture, I have heard on drag bikes they silicon the little ball thats in there as the bikes take off so hard from the line as to shut off fuel during a race. Just a thing to look for, I was working on something and the gawd-damn thing was on upside down from some previous sodomite rumaging around under there!

    Keep us abreast
