    Hi All,

Been creeping the sight for months but waited till the day to post a comment. Just purchased my first VFR 800 - 2006 VTEC second owner 24,338 Km Black with OEM paniers. Absolutely love it and can't wait for the snow to go! :frown-new: In the meantime have a look and feel free to comment. A great photographer I am not and these were taken with a smart phone. When I get a minute I'll get some good light and break out the Rebel. Cin Cin!

    Wellcome fellow Cannuck,
I cant wait for the snow to melt either. Here in Quebec, the date for mandatory winter tires was past & in theory bikers are allowed back on the road. But with this artic chill, I haven't seen one yet!

    Hey Bonjour!

Yeah a guy was out the other day in my neighborhood but he was in first gear and bundled up like the Michelin man :smow: I wish more areas had mandatory snows - but that another topic. Soon as the mercury hits 10 deg C (50 deg F) I'm all over it. This one even has Honda installed heated grips :flame:.

Welcome Probie. I can remember raking the lawn this time of the year when I lived in Winnipeg from time to time. I mean WTF is happening to you guys this year? All that's happening really out here is we are getting wet. A bit of snow (well quite a bit actually for here) but it is gone in a couple days. I was about to ride out to Vancouver this morning but the reason got cancelled and I don't like paying a bridge toll fir no reason.

Upside down plate bracket and light

I didn't notice which isn't good. I'll send more pics. It may be for clearance of the two brothers aftermarket exhaust. Not sure if it'll obstruct the numerals or not upside down.

The weather has been extremely gross here since October. I'm looking at mountain equipment coop for a balaclava to wear under my full face and some anti fogging agent for my visor. Any suggestions? Maybe from your Winnipeg days?

Thanks! Looking forward to miles of smiles. Good way to size a helmet - just enough room for a big smile! Is that a Givi top case matched with oem panniers? If so how did you mount it? Thanks again.

Personally, learned from experience, I would get my balaclava from a bike shop. Theirs has a longer bib on them and made with material at the neck that is more wind resistant that those sold at MEC, which are good but made for a different use. For fog, I swear by the Pinlock system. Expensive but worth every penny. Wait! We don't have pennies anymore. Worth every nickle. Again I've tried many products and found this the best. For applied products, dish soap worked best by far for me prior to my pinlock days.

Welcome from the middle! Weather is cold but ridable here.
Kodos on pics before the harassment. The zoo tends to be a tad unforgiving on that.

You should let us know where you are, makes it easier to do meets and join group rides.

took some pics. My apologies cause it was dark and these were uploaded with speed in mind not quality. I originally thought this may have been done for exhaust clearance but if anything this are closer to the exhaust. I think this was done for aesthetics by the PO. Comments?
