Are rails interchangeable?

Can I fit the passenger rails from a sixth-generation (03) VFR on a fifth (98)?

Why?

If you need a set of '98 grab rails I have a set I could sell you. I grafted on some hard luggage and the mounting bracket took the place of the grab rails.

The guy I bought my VFR from traded his rails for the cowl awhile back and I want to reattch em. The only ones I found on ebay last night were from that sixth gen. If you got the rails and hw for mounting them you want to sell, thatd be cool.

 

I could part with them. I don't think I'll ever take this luggage off 'cause it cost me over $700 between the mounting brackets and the bags. OEM grab rails are $209 a pair from Honda with no hardware. If you're interested, make a reasonable offer and send me your address for estimating shipping.
