where to buy OEM parts online

I need to order a upper cowl(center) and fender , someone recommended Hondapartsnation but the shipping quote to canada is a joke, lowest is $200 considering getting the same items shipped in the US is $24 and they are not huge and heavy boxes,, anyone know any other parts sources that dont have inflated SH charges, any info would be much appreciated
one option is open up a Mailbox in NY CBI and have it shipped there and drive over and pick it up once it is delivered

I've ordered a bunch from Bike bandit , ron ayers and cheapcycleparts. Not sure about canada but to California, Cheapcycleparts has been consistently cheaper (including tax and shipping) recently. but I tend to save up "needs" and order only when I have larger orders. Again, not sure how canadian shipping would come out. Just go to all the sites you want to try, fill up the cart and see what the total ends up as.

 

If your close to the border then you could ship to one of us and swap parts over beers, but I am a simple minded fool. Ship to Reggie's and swap oot at R4 or whatever it is this year. Hell the wife may buy that load of crap.

 

For some reason shipping to canada seems to make them think its the otherside of the planet. I have dealers that quote me 300-500$ to ship to me and others that ship for 40$ (tracked). I even get ebay sellers to ship to canada even when they are difficult (gotta love usps flatrate boxes ) so you frustration is understood. Fedex is no better, they routinely return shipments without even waiting for customs to clear it. But if i ship to the usa, 40$ tracked anywhere in the usa 3days. Hawaii add 1 day.

 

i just signed up at CBI , I did the year account option at $108 per year, you can also pay per package $5.95, you can get anything shipped there as it fit through the warehouse doors, it gives you a US shipping address to get things shipped , they let you know when it arrive and you pick it up and clear it yourself through customs, i order enough stuff from the US that makes it worthwhile

 

Bike bandit or Partzilla has been my go-to for oem parts when I don't want to pay dealer prices.
