Just got a 2000 VFR. Absolutely delighted. I've wanted one of these for nearly two decades (the VFR, not the 2000 model). Had 1984 V-4 700 cc Sabre and a V-4 Interceptor. Amazingly, I sold the Interceptor (stupid) in the late 1980s and kept the Sabre, which I'd set up as a sport tourer with the Hondaline fairing. That old steed just went away a couple years ago. But even when I had the Sabre (not the new cruiser style, the original) I hankered for gear driven cam version Interceptor after test riding it at Daytona over the years. Found one last night in the color I wanted (yellow) and bought it this a.m. Very clean. Clam happy. Once I settle in with it, I'll do a shootout with my Ducati ST3 - and old rival of the VFR. The Ducati will be very hard to beat! http://rs44.pbsrc.com/albums/f4/boscoe49/Mobile Uploads/photo1-2_zpsbf0ea82b.jpg~c100 But I've been a Honda guy since my 1967 CL-90 and actually had a brand new 750 four. Sometimes being old is good. Well, hi. Enjoy the site. It's very informative. I used it last night before shopping today.
Hi and oops! Just noticed this section. Posted my hello in general discussion. Duh! But very interesting site
Wow Boscoe, that's quite a collection of motorcycles you have there, but until you post a picture here of your VFR you will be suspect of just posing/lurking:glee: we really like pictures here! Feel free to show us your hole collection, you have some pretty cool bikes there.........if you can prove it:eagerness: John Welcome by the way.
welcome, we are all a bunch of crazy people here so hope you are cool with that. yup pics are required for just about every post you make.

http://s44.photobucket.com/user/boscoe49/library/http://rs44.pbsrc.com/albums/f4/boscoe49/ducati_zpse392f75e.jpg~320x480 WTF? Why can't I just paste my photos and have them show up?
Hi Boscoe and welcome to the MadHouse:welcome:. Those links show plenty of fine looking bikes - but I don't think I spotted a VFR :vtr2:. So to stop people ragging on you click "reply" and in the box that opens click on the icon two to the right of the envelope and follow the prompts to select and upload photos from your computer. While you are finding your way around the site its worth scrolling way down the home page and checking out the sub-forums - where you will find useful stuff like links to a service manual for your bike. It is also worth updating your forum profile - using the "my Profile" tab at the very top of the page to include at least the specs of your current VFR and a rough location city/state - that way the information will appear with all your posts and if you hit problems you may find someone nearby willing to swing by and help in exchange for some beer tokens. Take care SkiMad
Worked on Ducatis, rode ST4s. My bike was better balanced even though it did'nt have hard luggage. Welcome aboard from South FL. She's dressed in yellow, she say's "Hello, come over here you fine fellow." Like the yellow ones...http://vfrworld.com/photos/showphoto.php/photo/25861/title/dsc014022/cat/506
gave up posting pix until i resolve the link issue. it is annoying me. and tedious, too oh and thanks
When you reply, there should be a tool bar above text, in the second to last group of 5 icons, use the middle one to "Insert" photos from your computer, or provide a URL (link) to online photos.
thanks. got it. purple fat boy gone Amazingly, I don't have a photo of the 848. But here is what it looks like. Limited Edition with all sorts of trick bits: Okay. That ought to do it. Though I'm not sure I got them all.
Nice, I got some fire wood too when I was racing CCS  The hyper link above works for me. South FL is the place huh...You do alot of living here, its a satisfying experience mowing the lawn then taking a dip in the pool. Beats shoveling :smow: Nice collection of bikes. I only have three
I love Florida. Move here 30 years ago from NYC. Never looked back. I learned to ride in the New York area. That puts hair on your chest!
