You are going to want to scrub those tires in a bit before the Saturday ride, or mount them after the major ride and scrub them on the commute home.

Trying for an ironbutt, I have a route that's 19hrs and just over 1600kms, so might need a landing pad if you would like company for the border to border run. hmmm 3 IBA in one week? would be a good story.

Long, 5-star treatment? so all cussing will be ***** when so directed at a Canadian? If your offering a couch or better I'll take it! Means I don't have to take a tent :biggrin-new:

 

I have no idea where your route is but the absolute best rout from Abbotsford to TJ Mexico is straight down the I-5 and switch to the I-405 in the LA basin then back to the I-5. That is at least 2244 km and over 23 hours. I have to get gas in Canada then again in Mexico, to get a time stamped receipt as proof.

 

I thought the iron butt was Just 1000 miles in 24 hours?

Iba for my place to yours Randy. 1610km = 1000 miles according to the iba site. So 19hrs to your place, find hot tub and sooth the iron, then follow you for the b2b stupidity...insanity award. I got the route from chilliwack to tijuana down to 21hrs26mins on google maps, now add hauling ass to legal limits and it is very doable.

 

Am I to assume that college dorm party rules apply? If so I have an idea of what would violate the terms for pic sharing
