    Hi

The F1 light has come on a couple of times recently. Once the ignition is turned off and on again the light goes off. Also the bike has stalled a couple of times, once while I was waiting at the lights, but recently while I was on the move. The engine just doesn't sound right at the moment either. Like the timing's out. I've been told it's probably something to do with the fuel injection system? Any thoughts?

    Phil

First, please give more info regarding what bike you have i.e. '99 VFR800, it's not in your profile and you have posted in the general discussion area. On that note, there is a way to read the FI codes and this should help others identify the problem and what you can do to resolve the issue, but knowing which VFR you have is important.

Oh, and Welcome to The World!

I sent Phil a link to the Honda Service Manual so he can do the procedure of obtaining the FI code, does anyone know if the US and UK models differ when it comes to obtaining the FI code? Skimad, are you there?

I already sent Phil a copy of the manual. So he's good there. Just need to get the FI code to decipher the issue.

Google is your friend for many things including understanding the FI codes.
