That Rob is a smart fella let me tell ya!

I need to engage my 18 step get well program for financial success :smilet-digitalpoint

Then I can sell the works and go work for Randy trimming his hedge in Panama.

BTW, the GS ain't staying. It's just too big and ugly for me. Now if it was a Multistrada things would be different.

Sorry man, never planned on keeping it. It's a long story! heeeheh

The whole arrangement just never worked for me. The minute I throw my leg over the VFR, I'm back at home again so why fight it?

Hey there was a Transalp on e-bay just the other day. It was unique and I hear ya, it would probably sell better today than it didn't back in teh day.

I would like to tuck this little fella in a corner of the garage....http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-Other...5d14eaf80&item=231144861568&pt=US_motorcycles

I have a Canadian brother-in-law that is chomping at the bit to buy a GS of his own. He's trying desperately to sell off his DR and his FZ1 to add to his GS fund. He lives in Sacramento now, but he's originally from western Canada in a town called Lethbridge. Coincidentally, the only town I ever visited in Canada, but 20 years before I knew him. Small world, eh?

Boy if the topic was a pooch, then we royally screwed it...

BTT, it remains unseasonably hot here. Fortunately we got a slight mist today. Nowhere near a rain, but at this point we will take anything. The other day (Saturday) I drove over the old bridge near my house and a tree was on fire. It was blazing quickly and very hot (I could feel the heat in the truck with the windows closed). I went to the fire station which was closed up tight as a drum (no kidding) no lights, nothing. I picked up the red phone and they asked "what is your emergency?" I proceeded to describe the incident above to which I received "We are aware."

Not, "Thank you for being a concerned citizen."
Not, "We have a truck on the way."
Not, "It will be taken care of."

    I got, "We are aware."

Awesome. Glad you are aware. Those of us who live near the creek which is bone dry might be slightly concerned when a 30ft oak tree is ablaze and the flames are nearly reaching the power lines.

    Just sayin'

If you want to start scoping out some places, google Try Panama real estate, I'm kinda partial to the smaller beach towns around Coranado.

    Would be fun.

The 3 bedroom was $130k, I've seen 1 bedrooms for well under $100k and these are on or close to the beach.
Well worth it to escape the -30's, especially with our housing prices.
I thought Cali prices were even higher then even our west coast.......?

Ya gotta spend over $400k to have the privilege to freeze your nads off around here, our west coast is considerably more. At least our taxes here in Canuckville are reasonable. :sorrow:

OK Scub, I think I talked myself into it, maybe Jethro will join us. I've got a colonoscopy Tuesday so I won't be able to swing by your place until the 17th or so.

Can't think of a better place to wait out this global warming stuff.
