I don't have the most drops. But I might have some of the most embarrasing, ego harming drops.

Drop 1 - Early 90's, cbr f2, forgot to put the kickstand down after sitting and talking for a few minutes and just got off and it fell over.

Drop 2 - Early 90's, cbr f3, stopped in a gravel lot, put my feet down and my foot that I was leaning on just slid out from under me. Down it went.

Ok, this is where it starts getting embarrasing.

Drop 3 - Bought my pristine 07 RWB and trailered it home. Promptly after unloading it and in front of my wife, kids, friends and neighbors....I went to leave on it, stalled it leaving my yard and dropped it.(unlevel ground and by the time my foot touched mother earth, it was too far gone for me to stop it) I eased it down and it was on the grass so no damage(to the bike, ego another story) Then about a month later my neighbor dropped it while moving it around his shop(I had left it there while I was out of town) and broke the mirror and clutch handle off, but that doesn't count because I wasn't the one who dropped it.:smug:

And the last and most embarrasing.....drumroll please....
Drop 4 - 07 RWB again... I had been out of riding for about 15 years so when I bought my bike I just got my permit which allows for daytime riding without passenger. I rode on that for about 6 months, and then went to take my full test at the DMV. While taking the test(Being given by a fairly attractive female), I circled back around and stopped in the box for her to tell me what to do next...put my foot down on some loose gravel and dropped it on the right side. I somehow managed to pick it up by myself and trying to play it off and save some dignity, I jokingly asked her "that doesn't mean I fail does it?" She gave me a look that confirmed I had lost all man points, cool points and test points and said we were done. I don't think I have ever been that embarrassed before. The next week I rode over 30 miles to the next nearest DMV to retake the test because I was too embarrassed to go back. To this day, I have not told ANYONE about this, not even my wife. But I feel safe telling all of you, because I know none of you would ridicule me or poke fun about it.:distrust:

You could have given her a broom and dust pan and have told her to sweep up. That's woman's work. I wouldn't have but you cudda! That would have made a good read.

Been reading this and thinking of the last 38 years of riding. Not sure if I can remember all of them.

1975 CB750 In 1975 Dropped my 750 in an intersection when I hit sand some truck lost. Good thing it had crash bars. I just bought it and was a super novice. Dropped it twice again in my apt parking lot because of sand and beer. Almost dropped it when I rolled it up on the center stand arm in a corner.

1975 CB400 Turned race bike (458cc) Breaking in a new motor on the street. So I put the old center stand on. Came around an up hill 115* corner with camber and rolled it up on the center stand. Picked the rear wheel off the road and put me on my ass sitting in the middle of the corner and the bike in a shallow ditch on the other side. Lucky no cars were on the back road at the time. I won't count any race drops.

1979 CB750F A couple of putting it up on the center stand in the grass, foot slips we both fall over to the right.

1983 VF750F Had two of those grass/gravel/beer drops. The most spectacular was when a buddy and I were out running the back roads. He had a 84 K100RS that just got repaired from a crash in to the side of an Accord that pulled in front of us one night. I was the driver he was passenger on his bike (long story)
Well anyways we've just hit this highway exit at speed that has a merge lane w/stop sign on to a big main county road. We both look left, him first, me second. There was no traffic. We were both accelerating when we looked left. I double check left and then turn back to front. This asshole stops! For no reason! We don't stop for stop signs like this one. But he decided to. Well I panic brake big time so I don't hit his newly fixed bike. The front grabs big time I come off the seat and the rear of the bike joins me. Yes a stoppie. The bike stops and just tags his muffler aand balances there for a secound. I'm over the bars in a balancing act like the flying Wallendas. I dropped my head, wrong thing to do and over the bars I went. I still had a hold of the left side bar and the clutch was in. As I approach the ground twisted backwards the bike starts to fall right. As soon as I'm down, I'm up again because the bike is pulling me over to the right. I had a good grip on that clutch lever. Asshole turns around to see bike and me hit the ground. I hit the kill switch as I'm laying on the hot engine.
We get the bike up just in time before the state trooper pulls up. (another story)

Blowing snow in the winter with garden tractor. Backed in to garage to far hit bike, knock it off the center stand on to the rear seat for my van. Which my sons bike was also laying on. Dented tank

On a trip to Springfield Ill. Got in to bad weather. Stopped under and over pass. The pavement dropped off about 4". Thru out the side stand, stand hit raised pavement and retracted, I started getting off and the loaded bike and me went face down on the edge of the highway as a few cars went by. People probably thinking "what's that asshole doing".

I know there's more but have CRS at the moment.

This one reminds me of an "Almost from a couple years back where Chomper murdered Bambie in north east Oregon and I rode into the ditch then kept on going and rode out. That one does not count cause I stayed on the bike, stayed upright and rode out. Kingsley has that one on video someplace. Chomper.....another story. Parts from his bike are probably now a front fender for a 2014 Kia.

    1st:
'83 CB550 Nighthawk. I'd just purchased it and started riding and forgot to drop the kickstand, broke the shift lever. D'oh. Worked out ok since I bought a pair of levers and a few months later I busted the brake lever against my fingers weaving pylons on the highway. When in doubt lean harder XD my fingers ached for a few hours.
    2nd:
Same bike, bit off too tight a corner for my skill level (U-turn in a driveway, I'd only just finished the MSF beginner course) and set it down, rev'd it hard and in doing so scared my boy who was standing nearby.
    3rd:
Same bike, rode Iowa to Wyoming to see the woman I was crazy for (thought she was amazing and a 9.5/10 for looks, but turned out to be a cheating lying bitch. figures). Bike needed some maintenance and I either forgot the kickstand again or tipped it farther than I could catch. I made the 900 mile return trip in under a day. I braved gravel mountain roads, mule deer darting into the highway, idiot pedestrian tourists who don't understand that a road is for large dangerous vehicles, a high mounted sloshy gas reserve can, hot June Nebraska winds, and it was an 'oops' that brought it down XD
    4th:
'84 VF500F, I'd gotten quite used to the bike and a particular commuting route. One day I made a quick pass after a county road T intersection and slowed to turn at the next T, I failed to see a patch of gravel that showed up right in the middle of the intersection overnight (wasn't there the previous day), front tire hit it and I went straight down. Front end barely made it off the pavement so I know I wasn't going real fast, probably 15-20mph. Busted the spring retainer off the kickstand, bent up the mirror, scraped/cracked a few things, bent the shift lever. Two little bruises on my left leg, I finished the ride to work and welded the kickstand together later. A wrecker stopped and gave me a piece of wire so I could hold up the kickstand for the day.
    5th:
Same Interceptor. I was getting pretty brazen in the cold weather, but hadn't realized just how icy the roads were getting. I was heading home from school and didn't even make it off campus. The ice had screwed up the front brake so I was gently squeezing it to loosen it up. Well, it was grabbing sooner than usual and I learned that fact too late. Front wheel went out again, busted about the same things @ maybe 10mph. Hurt my pride more than anything, slid on my ass, but I got the bike up myself.

Let's hope those are the last, but the line between brave and stupid is so often blurred to me XD

RoninUnderground has achieved his spot on the list. I never thought that there were so many who have dropped their rides multiple times. Also came to the realization that I run in a crowd of the norms rather left believing I was a klutz.

I'm just glad I didn't 'oops' my new bike. '01 VFR800, it feels like it stands significantly more upright on the kickstand than my others and I went to simply roll it forward and had to whip out my ninja reflexes to save it. A driveway covered in snow and ice doesn't help e_e

    I haven't been too bad....

my 6th Gen is the very first bike i've owned. I got my endorsement on this bike:

1st - in the very first trip out I was making a sharp left turn at a stop sign.
2nd - at work in the parking lot as I was making a very sharp u-turn. Like an idiot I used the front brake instead of the rear.
3rd - at home rocking the bike off the center stand. instead of sitting on the bike i was on the side of it. lucky for me i was with a buddy and the bike landed on him... so no scratchs!

All of those 3 were my first season. Last year (season #2) I'm happy to report no drops.

Shit thanks for Saying my name Randy...

Okay so are the rules just dropping OR the bike hitting the ground bacause those scores are way different...LOL

    so here goes ......

Three on the street .. all of them were due to gravel getting under the front tire.. and that's my story and I am sticking to it.....

I had one drop in the carport when I was doing a brake job.. I was a dumbass and pulled both whells at the same time... bike was on the centerstand so I figured it would be okay..... uh yeah not so much... bike rolled forward collapsed the center stand and over she went...

one trying to be cool in the parking lot kicked down the kickstand and leaned only the kickstand didn't go all the way down over she went... cute little coed helped me pick the bike up... she laughed and said that someone my age should be riding a goldwing........

there are three drops that are just stupid go overs I don't really remember them but I know I have repainted the bike and replaced the plastics at least 4 times....

Assuming this question refers only to street motorcycles, I have 2:

One in 1972 when I came barreling around a blind corner and hit a cow standing in the middle of my lane, and one a few years back when I came to a stop and caught my left pant cuff on the foot peg . . .
