    INTERCEPTION 2014, the VFR Gathering

Some thirty years ago Honda introduced the first V-4 Interceptors. Let's celebrate!

Looking for interest in a picnic and parade in the greater East King County area one weekend between mid-June and mid-July. Still looking for an outdoor venue/park for a BBQ/picnic, pictures and a grand parade of VFR interceptors. We would park and ride in Generational order.
I think it would be a blast. Who is in?

If this is to be in generational order, are the old dudes first in line? If so maybe the parade should be before the picnic part. Old dudes like to take naps sometimes after they eat too much.

Plenty of parks on the Eastside. For ease of access and usually plenty of available space, Marymoor Park might do.

For more diversified press, also try Wet Leather and Soundrider bulletin boards..

I'm definitely interested. I'm more likely to make it if it happens in mid-July as I will be in Oregon getting together with a bunch of old bastards.

Yes! Assuming I don't make any last minute travel plans. It would certainly give me an excuse to come ride around my hometown.

Could you share your hop route with us? On the slab it's almost 300 miles from Eugene to Seattle.

Unless they have moved Eugene North of Seattle or the politicians who gave us daylight savings time have changed Up North to Down North or Down South to Up South or horror of horrors, sold Eugene to Canada for 21 Loonies and some plastic jewelry.

Badbilly, You are correct...I talk funny and get things upside down and backwards often:lemo: Now a ride from YooJean following 126 to the 101 on through Port Angelus would make my post correct. That'd be a 570 mile hop.

Whew! For just a minute I thought we had sold Eugene to Canada. Come to think of it they talk funny too.

The problem with going to or through Port Angeles is that time suck doing the road up to Hurricane Ridge three or four times..

While you are at it up there, a loop around 101-113-112 back Port Angeles from the Ridge would be cheery.

Drove that with the wifey couple years back in our WRX. Frickin awesome. So wish I was on a bike... But it was absolutely pouring down rain... So maybe not at that moment. Drove all the way out to Neah Bay.
