I just installed the Delkevic SS without the baffles and I love the tone. Its loud so people hear me coming since they are too busy with their cellphones and radio. I got my exhaust off eBay for $350. Took a minute to install and align the best I could. Now it sounds like more than a fast moped. Sounds like a V8 supercar. Found out I could get the exhaust cheaper if I just went straight to Delkevic instead of buying off ebay. I am sure the Two Brothers and others may be of higher quality but I am very happy with my exhaust. Just my 2 cents.

I'll be buying a delkevic full system with the carbon 8" open cans. Don't like the 2 bros system. Have a fake can is just silly if you ask me.

Haha, when I read this last paragraph, I pictured a guy like...rolling a scotch around and sniffing it and saying "Yeesssss, hints of a V8, the light chirping of sparrows, and a throaty growl of some North African Leopard!" I think VFR nuts are like auditory connoissieurs. :couch2:

    Pipewerx

Werx fer me! Pipewerx has great style sound and performance... just in case you were wonderin'.
Also, I raised it up with a flex pipe for now. I plan to put a permanent pipe on it after I find the stainless pipe and get another dollar for it.
I will be posting pics for the high mount soon.

I have the Two Bros V.A.L.E. slip on. Not too loud but give off great sound, especially when you run through the gears. Nice fit and finish I think. The DUMMY pipe threw me during install. Thought I was missing w Y piece. Called Two Bros to clear that up.

I've got the British made MTC cans on my 6th Gen. It is one working can and 1 dummy can. The set up isn't "Silly" , it actually gives a slight increase in HP . It has removable baffles (which are only going to be in there for MOT testing) and sounds great without getting on your nerves on a long ride. I had an NC30 with a stupidly loud system on it and it drove me nuts after about 50 or 60 miles into a ride, even with good quality ear plus in.

I guess you pays your money and you makes your choice and I am pleased with mine !!

Power increase aside. When people (like me) put there hand behind the can and find that its not doing anything then they're gonna ask questions

If people ask, then the answer is ready for them.

The standard exhaust is 4 into 1 already, then it splits into 2 again under the seat. The connecting pipe for the 2 standard cans is flattened for the sake of clearance so it is restricted anyway.

Dumb question. Do you need to do a power commander and look at the mapping if you do these exhaust mods? I would not want to get into this if it is not an easy swap.

It's not 100% necessary, but you will probably, eventually want to get a power commander and custom tune.
