The bust for over 100mph is bigtime. In some places they will confiscate the vehicle too. Portland International has a fairly long straight. The best place for top end runs is The Alvord Desert. Some local guys just set a womens Land speed record there approaching 400mph..

    Details on Google..

Suzuki experimented with long stroke/short stroke motors on their "Gixxers" for years. They also experimented with balls or needle bearings for their head sets flip flopping around. This is not to be twisted into some sort of homo-erotic statement, thats all I am saying. I went with OEM balls in my Vee-Fer btw...

I was thinking of posting up an avatar for mself. Maybe a Klingon. I wonder if Hugh Laurie has ever played a Klingon? I hope our Princess doesn't consider adopting the cameo role by Waldon Goggins on "Sons of Anarchy."

    6th Gen/04, 135 so far...

Did that on a group ride. We sent a rider ahead to give us the "All Clear". Bout a 5 mile stretch of Straight road with no side roads/turnoffs or driveways.

    I prefer curves

    Ride Red!

Anything over 60mph on a Harley produces the same effect.

160+ last weekend on my 03'
-1 on the front and I know (Tomtom rider2) that the speedo over reads by 15 mph at 100mph... Must be miles out at 160.
If I find a straight enough road I'll see what the actual figure is :)

Fastest indicated was 250 KPH on my 03. I didn't have a GPS with me, but, based on other times I drive with my GPS, I find my speedo is consistently approximately 7% fast. That means I was doing approximately 234 KPH (145 MPH) and that was fast enough.

This morning I saw an indicated 154mph on my bone stock 07RWB. She might have had a little left, but I don't think there was much. Judging from how far off my speedo is at 80, I would guess I was doing 145ish.

I did via gps certified 157mph on my 5th gen. I am at 6000feet altitude so the engine is down about 10 hp. It might go faster if I could hold wfo longer. My 2nd gen 700 will just barely pull about 145 mph. I run 17 " rims and stock gearing. With a 43 in the rear the bike would not pull redline in top gear, now it will just barely and I gained 10mph on top.

so on my 94 CBR1000F i hit 175 MPG according to the speedo, I did this on I-25 north bound from 120th to hwy 7, straight road with no exits at the time so clear sailing.
On my 01 CBR1100xx I hit 180, according to the speedo, also did this on I-25, but down south near colo springs..
On my VFR1200 I hit 156 MPH on Northwest parkway when some bumbass decided he wanted to race me with his 300 SRT.. he gave up at 140 i think.. I just kept going..
