Sold my VFR....just to buy another one.
I found a 2007 RWB anniversary with 22k km for sale. I always liked that model but never saw one before in NZ (apparently there are only a couple of them over here). I just needed to have it, but had to get rid of the other bike first. Lucky enough it sold pretty quick and I bought the anniversary the same week.
Except for the exhaust (LeoVince) and the windscreen (ZG Double Bubble) the bike is unmodified. Didn't really like the looks of the screen, so I put a stock screen back on it.
Changed the oil and clutch fluid and checked the air filter. Air filter had to be changed (was probably still the first one). Read some reviews about air filters and decided to put a Pipercross filter on the bike.

Last week I had a PC V fitted and remapped the bike on the Dyno. Didn't have much time yet to really try it out but one thing I really noticed, the throttle response is really smooth now. Especially in city traffic.

You've probably seen a RWB before, but nevertheless here are some pictures:

I love my silver but the RWB is awesome. It reminds me of my old 83 VF750F. Very cool color scheme. Well done and best of luck! :congratulatory:

Hey I notice your wheels are gray. Is that standard in your part of the world? In USA they are black.

I actually think 2006 has a great color -Pear Black with little stars in it-I saw a RWB and didn't think the colors blended together very well. But the best models are the 2006-2009 abs black pearl with the 2006 having the least tax bill-anything new-the tax man really charges a lot. I think mine is really nice, so far I changed the oil adj the chain, have new tank pads coming and new adj folding levers, I am installing right now R+G sliders-I had the seat cut down 1 inch-may get a sargent seat later on- I plan on doing a full lower job around 2 inches-maybe put the stock wind screen back on-its clear, I have a black on now-don't like no being able to see though the screen!

I sold a gen 6 and got another gen 6. The first one was a red from 2004. (the one in my avatar). But I liked the RWB much more, so I just needed to have it

That's something I didn't get either. I think they should be black also. But the previous owner bought it second hand with the silver wheels and didn't ask questions about it. I guess that somewhere down the line they got swapped. It doesn't really matter. With the next tire change I'll probably have the wheels powder coated white.
