I'd buy it. Just because it's a VFR and as long as the mechanics were good....then I'd rent a sander. First mod: Sand it ALL off.

I'd buy it and put new tyres onto it, then abuse the hell out of it as a track bike. But I wouldn't offer more than $500 for it.

Nope. Sorry to disappoint John,only my VFR is colorful.

I drive a plain-jane 2006 Metallic Racing Red Pontiac Grand Prix.

It's nothing special,just your basic "getcha from here to there in relative comfort" kinda car. :car:

Stosh, glad you realize that was 100% fun comment about that car. I really admire all the details you have in your bike. I remember in another thread that when it comes to your bike you have a cleaning/therapy kind of thing like I do. My bike is only RWB though:biggrin:

Yeah there's definitely a whole lot more to the motorcycling experience than just riding the bike John. I take a lot of time and effort to sweat the details on my bike and I like to keep it clean so that other people can see it in all it's glory.

Call me weird but I just find it relaxing to sit out in the garage at night with the big door open and all the garage lights on and detail my bike. It's those private moments alone with the bike that I really enjoy because that's when I get the chance to admire it.

Here is a sweet 2nd Gen that is currently for sale on Craigslist Atlanta.....Yikes!!!

 

Seems like he really wanted the CBR F3 in its many iterations of purple and yellow...

 

I must have missed the sale on yellow paint!
