Road the bike today and some more bugs out, set tire pressure 33,37-seems better adj preload in rear, torqued the chain adj to 54pds. Top heavy bikes do not work well at recommend pressure in tire-only if carry a lot of weight-which I don't right now. Chain now set right. This is a great bike but its not for a beginner-for sure. I got about 25,000 of riding time. m5 tires look like candy to me-the oem m4's suk. I am cutting down my seat soon-glad to have heated grips. Trying a New shoie rf 1100-nice helmet!:horn::mmph::wave:

It was a promotion put on by the manufacturer, if you registered on Metzeler's website and showed them proof of purchase of a rear tire, they'd send you a front tire for free (minus shipping). I think the promotion ended a couple weeks ago though.

No the deal is still good till oct 31,you cannot get a lower price anywhere by buying a discount rear tire then paying $25 to ship the second-I have done this three times with tire company's!@:2guns::boink:

I'm sorry I'm not following- where can I buy the tire? Any authorized retailer I'm guessing?

I tried metzeler's website but it doesn't seem to be working very well. Can't even look at product line!

I bought the tire yesterday and got a confirm from metzler in the same day! So they are sending the free tire-you have to move fast-there are only a few tires yet!
