Tough decision but my beloved 2000 Yellow VFR is up for sale

I posted all the details in the classifieds and I am not necessarily in a hurry to sell but if anyone is interested, let me know. :frown:

It is a perfect 5th gen that has all the right things done and needs nothing at all.....

LOL scuba! Yeah you are right....test drove one and i really like it...great motor and suspension and it fits my needs at this point very well. I never owned a new bike so this will be my first.

I love this place way to much to leave though, hehe

Hehe...you got it! But i won't have the tiger for a bit cause i have to sell my VFR first and that may take a while and I am not going to give it away :smile: hell it may be spring before anything happens being that we are towards the end of our riding season....

Man...no hits at all...what would you guys consider to be a fair price?

 

Price always seems to be subjective. Do a KBB or NADA Guide value look up on it and see what they come up with. Look at eBay, Craigs list and Cycle Trader too for other examples (if available). Also add-ons don't always increase the value, unfortunate as that is. Another thing to factor in, your timing probably isn't the best for your part of the country, Fall and Winter are just right around the corner, so unless someone flies in and rides out, anyone close to you will be storing for Winter soon.

 

MOST people are welcome to stick around. But anyone who sells a 2000...hmmm.

I think your price seems fair. Mine has a few less miles on it (17K) and does not have the suspension upgrade, and I figure its worth low $3s. "Mostly mint", with 2 small scratches. Other stuff is comparable (corbin, 2BR pipe, R/R upgrade, etc.).

Thanks guys...yeah the fact that winter is approaching means it may sit until spring. I figure if someone offered 3500 it would be a hell of deal quite honestly

Pliskin I know...this has been my favorite bike to date and quite honestly I am torn about letting it go. I am sticking around either way, lololol :tongue:
