Wandering around kikcing the tires....

Hello all,

Just wandered over here with a like from WireMyBike. Just got back into riding after a very long break (11yrs) since my Valkyrie was stolen and my son was born.. Best and worst year of my life. Picked up a 03 VFR800 right before I started my sabbatical and promptly put ~3k in the course of a month or so.

Slowly learning the ins and outs of this particular ride. And loving every minute in the saddle..

Oh and right off the bat let me appologize for my horendous typing.. My brain works faster than my fingers and I do occasionally swap letters around.

3K in a month! - Sounds like you will slot in well, so pull up a chair, kick off the shoes and make yourself at home.

PS - When you get a chance post up a photo or two of your bike or some folks will be ragging on you fairly soon...

I am going to jump in and welcome you back to motorcycling in general and to the VFRWorld forum in particular. Remember, on this forum, it's just a lot of talk without pictures as proof.

I too took a rather long break from riding myself after my kids were born and I sold my R90/6 BMW. I am back at it again and enjoying being kidless and back on the bike.

Welcome...sounds like your makin up fer lost time..being out of ridein and all..it was 10 years out before I found my 2002...

Welcome to the Wacky World of the best bike on the road. Quick. Get some pix added here before everyone has a shit conniption. 3K in a month. That used to be me riding until I retired and became a poor sod on fixed income. Keep it up.

LOL That's funny I've got a puddle underneath my raingear that says that I rode it into work this morning as well.

 

834mi give or take for me... Only problem is it is in one of the few states I've said I will never set foot into... But at least you are North of the ugly parts of CA. I might have to make an exception.
