    Hi!

My nickname is iggi, I live in Southern California. I have been riding for about 10 years and for the past two years have owned a beautiful Honda VFR 750. Year: 1993 with under 32,000 miles. I joined the site so I can post about my bike because I am putting her on the selling block. I barely ride my bike, and I know that she deserves alot more love and attention. I hope to find a buyer that will be happy to ride her all over town. With the sale of the bike, I will use part of the $$ to save for a sportster. Once a rider, Always a rider..that will never change.

What's that. Some jock at a MC shop? Good luck on your sales. You must be a good mechanic if you are getting a sportster. JK

And if you are buying because it is American Made. Parts for HD are made mostly out of the country. Only assembled in the states. I use to live in York Pa and HD was like 3 mins from my school. I learned alot about them there and the biggest thing I learned was that They over pay there work force and you over pay because of it as a consumer.

I am not against Harleys, but just be warned: sportsters do not hold their value and most everyone I have ever known who rode one wanted a "real" harley within the first year, or wanted nothing else to do with Harley.

The being said, I think the old throwback to the dirt tracker they made is pretty cool. It's no comparison to a modern sportbike, but it's no slouch in the fund dept.

Im not set on HD, i see some street honda shadows that have made me look twice. My mechanic who i trust and have been a loyal customer, i trust his judgement on the bike. I feel secure in my decision. One friend of mine said to me..."hardley ableson" ;) So its def not set in stone.
