7th Gen owner. I've yet to see another on the road. I saw an older generation near Robert Morris University a year ago , 5 Gen, under-seat exhaust, looked and sounded great. Nothing since then, any generation. I'm awash in a sea of Harley s.

Saw myself in the mirrors as I did 840 mile R/T Pittsburgh to Richmond Va. last weekend.

My track bunny is a GSXR because parts are everywhere and cheap. I would NOT ride one on the road.

I do know of a few VFR1200's in town but have yet to meet any of them yet. I do like not having the same bike rolling up the stoplight next to me.

Thanks for noticing Scubalong. The intent of this post wasn't intended to click my heels in the air ( look at me ). Just frustration at a lack of diversity in bikes where I ride.

I too like the fact that you just don't see too many VFR1200s. I don't get the Harley thing were everyone is busy being individualistic by riding the same bike. As for 'Long's comment, I think one must be accepting of a certain amount of good natured ribbing on VFRWorld.com.

Bringing alive a 2 year old thread :chaingun:

I haven't seen any Viffers around the town yet. Tired of seeing the Harleys and riders with no helmets :/

I see a few around a Cleveland area.

A few weeks ago I rode to Deals Gap and back. Obviously saw a lot of bikes on the trip, but not another VFR12. I had quite a few riders ask me how I like it. It handled 1,800 miles in 4 days extremely well.

I'm still new to this part of the country and yet to explore the North East. I was in SoCal and have seen tons of all gen VFR's and a few 1200's too. I was used to seeing more of sport/sport touring bikes in SoCal. The demographics are completely different here.

Why do you care what anybody else rides? I guess I see it differently as I have had every kind of bike and as a result, I know there's no certain mold for riders. I like seeing any other bike on the road because I know it's one more person I have at least one thing in common with.
