So. I was offered an additional 10% off if ordered today so that is what I did. 200 have been ordered # 2 was picket by our estemed panel of judges who carefully analyzed the three options. The panel consisted of me. I chose # 2 only because I did not want Pliskin to have my patch as his avatar.

I will likely post up a whole new thread to order these new patches, once these arrive, with a couple photographs of the real thing.

Needs a bump. Seems this on line crest outfit is less than stellar. Within a few moments of submitting my design, there were probably 6 e-mails generated from them and a phone call. One email is seeking my input but won't allow me to do what they are asking of me. We will see what awaits me at the end of the day. I replied to them that thus far, I was not especially impressed with them. But I didn't swear at them.....yet.

 

What do you think about this patch? I think its Canadian.

 

So I have been emailing back and forth to this company with proofs being sent and correction being made. They seem to assume I know what all their acronyms mean. One acronym sent back to me was pms125c. I mean what the fuck does that mean? Is there a woman that is going to bite my head off cause she has now had 125 bad moments?

The design looks fine to me however I wanted to check - that these would be sew on patches suitable for my Jacket/baseball cap - so similar to the ones for the 6th Gen Militia? I just wanted to be sure as over here, the term "patches" can also apply to printed plastic logos with self adhesive backing which I guess you folks would call a bumper sticker.

Good point. Words and phrases have different meanings in different countries. Roots is a very well known clothing brand here in Canada yet has quite the different meaning over in Australia. Going out and having a fag in Britain means one thing while other places....well.

This is a sew on crest similar to the 6th Gen Militia Patches. A black canvass background with embroidered graphics. What is seen in gold is actually geld metallic thread. They are throwing in an iron on surface on the back side so you should be able to just iron it onto a hat or shoulder. The basic shape actually comes from a Police shoulder crest.

It is suited well for the shoulder portion of your sleeves on any jacket. But I would sew it on so long as you are not compromising water resistant material.

Here's the sample back from the manufacturer. I accepted it and 200 are on order. Should be here in a couple weeks. Again, I will post up with instructions how to order yours if interested on a new thread.
