Recently turned 47. VFR was my first bike so I guess I've been riding them off and on for 27 years. I'm in the process of restoring my first one, but came across this gem a few years ago as a parts bike:

Pretty much all of them, LOL. The bike was super clean and complete. I haven't had the heart to take any parts off of her. This one in the pic is a 1987 I found in Olathe, KS. My original is a 1986 that was shipped to me from California when I was a student in Baltimore.

I'll be 55 in two weeks, this is my first VFR ( 1200 ). I have a VTR1000F as well; they are both highly under-rated. Bought my first bike at the age of 13 with paper route money. A shame kids can't do that anymore.

Unfortunately, she does not. But she did have a lot less on towards the end of the shoot, and from where I stood, all parts seemed to be working, LOL ;)

Was never mine to keep. She was a beautiful girl for sure, but I don't know if she was really the type you would want to keep -- maybe borrow for short periods of time, LOL.

Just about to hit 46. I've got my whole life ahead of me & plan to ride 'till the end of it! I just can't understand why my shoelaces seem so far away some mornings...

Im 43 on Wednesday, and snake my way through the rush hour traffic every day, at least those without frost. On my second 5 gen vfr 800, and enjoy every moment of it.
Told the wife there where two things, that were non-negotiable, before we married. 1 I am a mariner, and would stay one no matter what. 2. I have a bike, and the only reason for selling it would be to by a new one. .......
Well. It worked of sorts.. .... Still have the bike....
But have become shorebound. I guess 50/50 ain't half bad #

Well, I guess I can be consider old by today's standards but I can assure you I don't feel that way. I am 33 years old I love this bike! A lot of the guys at work have cruisers (mostly HD because we are in WI, I guess) and I'm the only one with a non-HD and that puts a smile on my face because I see them looking at my bike and I know that are wondering what that must be like. Well, you guys know, it's a great ride.

AGR could factor in if ya mean adjusted gross revenue or copping to hitting the wrong key.

I'm 61 and just finished a 5 day trip starting in Toronto around Lake Huron on my '02. Camped and moteled. Love to tour on this bike, periodically my wife will ride with me for a few days, (as long as they are no longer than about 5 hours) Plan to keep doing this for a few more years. P1010294.jpg

I am 34 and I do find that most VFR owners are around 40 and up. However, I have never felt the need to impress and I ride for pleasure, not for show.

With that said, I have owned a SS and a cruiser and I just find the sport-touring type of the bike the best of both worlds, more comfortable and longer range than any SS and way more handling and performance than any cruiser.

If my next bike is something other than another VFR, it will most likely be something like a Triumph Sprint or the Ninja 1000. If not for the fact that the gear driven cams were dropped for the 6th gen, I'd get that 100%.

am 61. have a '95 and a'98 vfr. plus a '96 900ss ducati. when they say your too old, tell them to worry about their own age and give you a break.
