I'll go along with that statement, but only if you are being literal. I have an auto mechanic that I have used for over 12 years. He owns his own shope, I drink with him on Fridays, been to his house and met his family, and his dogs know me when I walk into the house. If one of his employees isn't doing the work to his satisfaction, he lets them go and tells them what they need to do to be a better mechanic. He is MY mechanic and I trust him implicitly when it comes to my cars.

Now, if were to go to another garage for any reason, the person doing the work would only be A mechanic. There is a world of difference between the two. Most of the mechanics I have met are lazy, filthy, and care nothing for the work that they do or how they treat your vehicle. It's not their name on the sign outside. There are always exceptions to the perception, but they are just that. The exception.

A little update on cleaning and lubing those pesky chains.. In a fit of trying to be the really nice guy I am, (lol) I thought I'd send a bud some of that great chain cleaner and lube combo by DuPont. Amazon seemed like a good choice. Plugged in all the right stuff to pop for a can each of the stuff and it came to a total of $15.00 and change. Not too bad.

Amazon usually has some deals going on shipping but on this IMO if you like it up the ass, and want to pay $15.00 and change for shipping (yes, SHIPPING) Be my guest.

Billy. That did not seem to be such a great price. Can you not get it for a similar price at Wallyworld or one of your major auto-parts stores?

Well, first off oot of the chute, my bud lives in another state. The total of 30 USD or as much for shipping as the damn stuff costs doesn't approach "bargain". More like ream and proving there are still assholes out there who fuck buyers on shipping costs.

Besides, thirty bucks US is only $4.99 in your foreign money. :)

Right now I am in Ogeron. Small burg. Two parts suppliers=Two NAPA stores and an independent. One dude at one of the NAPA stores tells me that the other NAPA store has DuPont stuff because they carry Martin-Senour paints. Martin-Senour is owned by Sherwin-Williams and other than maybe buying raw materials or special additives ain't got shit to do with DuPont.

Back to the subject of parts dudes who will never quite figure oot that they are full of more shit than they realize. This fuck I talked to is now and forever on my shit list for making up a story instead of just saying he didn't know.

Ain't got the time for that and I do have the money. That, will be spent elsewhere.

Walmart carries the product in some of their stores. Not all. They will also not transship according to the customer rep in Calcutta who had no fucking idea what I was talking about much less any kind of solution.

She also didn't know anything aboot bullshit meters.

I really should have told here mine is working just fine..

If you replace the chains and the sprockets, your mind will be at peace. The world will seem a better place to you. Rainbows and unicorns. Like living in Mayberry and Andy's still Sheriff.

Most of us were under the impression that MSF was teaching safe riding.
