The GA's at Laguna are the best buy IMO. Watching a race unless it's a roundy-round on a track a mile or less is bench warming. Plus in the bench warming areas ya get the dudes who are either quoting obscure stats like how big the third place guys GF's boobs are or one of the really fast guys who could show the dudes on the track a thing or two...

The track is large and has a varied topography. All the majors have displays including some displays of other things universally appreciated by us "enthusiasts".

Bring money and unless things have changed the nice folks who sell even water will be there with their hands out. Honda usually has free water. According to the weatherdudes, I'd be packing some sunscreen and a hat of some kind, and maybe even some footwear made more for walking than riding. Lot of places to watch a raceg rather than having your ass glued to some fixed location.

Not a clue what that is all about but please tell us of that adventure. A close encounter of the first kind maybe? If you have any problem starting, begin with either a monograph about your second cousin's root canal or the old standby," It was a dark and stormy night and the Princess was feeling restless".

Practice or qualifying laps at any track are great photo ops. Smaller crowds, greater set up time available and the abillty to move around without missing the actual races. Also ya don't want to get if front of a guy with a 5-6 grand camera setup and take shots with your Walmart cellphone using both hands. This should be observed even more religiously if the dude with the pricy camera is 240 and 6'4" wearing HAMC colors. Less religiously if he (or she) is wearing a SAMCRO Tshirt but is still 6' 4" and 240.

When its actually race time, will I want to find a good seat or will I most likely just get up and walk around and look at the race from various view points? I have a GA ticket btw.

A difficult question to answer. One dude at WSB one year was doing that and got jumped by three umbrella girls and missed every lap.

    Man that was awesome.

General Admission was definitely the way to go. I walked around the whole time to experience the race at different spots.

The corkscrew was awesome. I was sitting right there when Marquez passed Rossi.

Heres a video from the first lap of the corkscrew

All of my pictures are just pictures of an empty track for my own memories of the experience. Nothing I think anyone else would be interested in if you've seen the place before.

The difference in sound between video and real life is staggering. Those bikes are so freaking loud. Man that was so fun, I realy wish I could've gotten another day of it.

The more you go to Laguna the less pictures you take. I've been so many times now I don't even bring the camera any more electing to just enjoy the experience instead.

First and foremost I wanna see umbrella girlz.... Next I wanna see pics of umbrella girlz jumping BB (he probably got confused, and was at an ol' folks home watching the wheel chair races and got jumped by blue hairs), then motorcycle race pictures.
