Oh Puh leeze. You have a multitude of bikes with different materials - steel, aluminum, plastics all manufactured that have waste byproducts that go into the air or a landfill. You use oil in the bikes and have a car? The refinement of oil and gasoline is a dirty nasty process that throws tons of byproducts into the air and even crap that has to be stored someplace. And chances are, in the car or truck you drive, there's Dupont products in some part of the vehicle. You ride/drive your vehicles? Your burning gas and polluting. You have a house? Use electricity? That's a high polluter in generation of energy. You buy other products? Same type of deal, maybe less so or more so depending on what it is.

Wanna go boycott it all? You have to go sit in the closet. If you are an American consumer, you indirectly support companies that manufacture things that may end up polluting in some fashion.

    Ignorance.

All i'm sayin is no need for producing toxic materials like teflon to lube a chain when ordinary gear or motor oil does the job.

I'm not much on caring about what's in it, worked pretty good as far as i can tell. Used the degreaser and chain brush, but mostly just a rag let that dry abit then used the chain saver.

thanks guys, if i didn't read this forum i really more than likely would have never even touched my chain, ever. And yes i got it on my rim, and my tire, and the muffler, pretty much everything around the chain got sprayed at some point and yes in my eyes once, but chain looks nice now.

Gawd man. That chain looked horrid before you got at it. A double re-welcome to this forum if it makes you fix that deficiency. Was that rust I saw on there? What shape is that chain in otherwise?

I see what your saying but how often do you shop at Walmart? you know they take out life insurance policy's on older retired employee's and when they die they collect the $ and much more, every company in the world does fucked up shit, that's why there a big company and they do it for one reason and it's the same reason the world is like it is today, they just don't give a fu**. Americans over consume everything, we don't need half the stuff we use or have, my only transportation is my bike and I live off of $40 worth of food a week, also did you know that they pay African children for used needles, so these children run around collecting needles to sale back to the corporation that is remade and distributed guess where..................excactly. so for one company to be singled out is Ludacris..........we are the problem because as consumer's we buy there sh**.

Yep, Walmart takes those old folks and re-cycles them. What you see in the lentil section is actually Soylent Green. Also, Ludicris is the official rapper for Walmart.

The things we learn over the internet are marvelous..

how long have you had the chain and how many miles on it? that would be great info and I'm just going crazy cause I wanna put mine on with the master link I got but DID says no so I have to wait 2 weeks for master link to get here and my chain is shot to the point I'm afraid it'll break while I'm riding and hurt some people and me, and if anyone else could chime in that would be great, sorry I'm not trying to thread steal I just wanna know if I put another master link on will it hold up and how many miles so I don't have to worry, oh and awesome thread I'm going to pick up the DuPont today lol, I use pj1 blue label but I noticed it picks up a lot from the rd or I might be over spraying.

Don't worry about it. All I wanted to do was to say that DuPont Chain Saver, previously not available in Canada, is now available in Canada. But we seem to be trying to sell Life Insurance for fuck sake now.

What do y'all think about Scott's Turf Green vs the crap they sell at Home Depot. Or do you prefer to go out there in the middle of the night and fertilize your lawn "au natural" when it is dark so no one sees your hairy ass.

We must be cognizant that midnight au natural fertilizing is both organic and gluten free.
