Good day All, Just bought my first VFR last week. 2007 VFR800 RWB. So far, I have been thoroughly enjoying the new ride. I would like to say "thanks" for all the great information on this site. It has been a great research tool. And yes, this past Saturday I did the partial gutting of my stock exhaust. Much better sound, and its nice being heard while lane splitting. I commute about 16k a year on the bike, plus weekend and other trips. Have three great kids and a wife that still puts up with me after 22 years. My oldest is currently serving in the desert with the U.S. Air Force. Looking forward to VFR World. Rubber side down!

Hi John, my first name is Wade. I haven't done much on forums before, so still learning. Brat Habit was the name of our boat, which I actually just sold a few moths ago.
Nice to make your aquatints Wade. Thanks for sharing the boat pic, looks like a good family boat. Going to replace it, or taking a break? These are my other toys. Boat is a 96 Mirage mod vb with a 225 that runs low 90's and the Doo is an 05 super charged 2seater that's been upgraded to almost 300 hp and will run upper 70's..........it's a hoot! John
John, love the water toys. Our boat had a fuel injected 5.0, so it ran great on Lake Tahoe without having to change a thing. I could run 60-61 with a light load. Taking a break for now, doing more traveling. And my middle kid (son) is off to San Diego in a few months for college.
That was a good running family boat Wade. So you've traded the toy boat for the Interceptor. You'll find the Interceptor much easier to clean.:biggrin: I imagine when you get down San Diego way your going to be busy with school stuff, but if find you have a little extra time get a hold of me and maybe we could meet for a beer. I'm just north of San Diego in Escondido and Scubalong is in Oceanside. I only know Long from his avatar of mating with metal dinosaur sculptures in the desert.:gossip: I need to make his acquaintance too. John, I'll definitely keep that in mind when I get down your way. Obviously, our next few trips are filled with orientation, moving and such, but I'm hoping to make a trip with the bike along the coast at least once.
