OEM Pannier side bags, brand new, $419 shipped, red only

I just received a few days ago a brand new set of OEM hard bags for my 6th generation VFR800. I found them at David Silver Spares. They only have red but have multiple sets of them left. They were only $417 including the shipping and include all of the mounting brackets and hardware. Killer deal, just thought I'd share. Use the URL below. I actually got their LAST set of Black. Wife helped me install them this past Saturday. I can't believe I waited this long to buy them. :high5:

 

I can't believe you had to have your wife help you install them! Just kidding. For that kind of money it was an easy decision for me.

 

Ok, quick question. Can the 6th gen bags be mounted on a 5th gen bike? I expect the answer is no, but figured I would ask.

 

Not a clue. I'd post this as a new post with the question in the title and you might get someone that knows. I would guess with some tubing and welder you could fabricate something fairly easily but without that it seems unlikely. Never know though.

But if you talent and creative it is possible.

 

Placed an order for these this morning as well...curious to see how bad they look on my RWB! Very impressed with the price and even the shipping cost of these. Only $17 to Canada...usually we get gouged on shipping from the US.

 

Only 9 left...well 8 since i will purchase it as soon as this is posted...will finally buy it after always deciding to wait for the next time to purchase it...thanks for posting this buddy, otherwise i may have missed them all by the time i checked again
