After just watching the Moto 2 in Qatar think we may be hearing the Spanish National anthem a lot this year.

Italian GP was epic. Rossi getting taken out on the first lap is priceless. Looks like the Yamaha curse of Ben Spies is living on through him.

Priceless? Ten bucks says you have a pile of vids showing crashes and wrecks and play with yourself whilst watching.

The fact that 76K people came out, mostly to see him, and he got taken out in the first lap. How is that not priceless?
BTW BB it's 2013 no one has a pile of videos anymore, but I get what you're infering.

    The facts support my inference.

Hate Rossi or the Italians that much? I wouldn't get excited to see riders I can't stand go down in their home race. Not really good for anyone.

I'm sure the rider Baubesta-how ever you spell his name--- had to be escorted out of the track with armed guards. By watching the crash I think it was just Rossie trying to make up for his terrible start and like Spies said---just not seeing the other rider and it being just a racing accident

I don't hate Rossi but I can appreciate irony. I was more upset MM went down at the end. He should have played it safe and took 3rd.
It's frustrating to see him get stuck behind DP when you know DP isn't going to catch/pass Lorenzo.
This is a Honda forum we can't be happy Yamaha got knocked out and DP and MM only had to deal with Lorenzo? Not that they really dealt with him.

Ah. I don't have that blind loyalty problem. I own both brands. And I hope Ducati fix their bike.

I am a fan of racing and the riders. You won't ever catch me rooting on a brand.

DP shows his maturity over MM by being patient but boy would it have been fun to see MM duke it out with Lorenzo again.
I have a little blind loyalty, but I do root for CC it would be nice to see him get a factory ride.

Anybody got a suggestion for a vid game for ol Dork that he can control with his joystick. That way nobody gets hurt and taking out a character is just for fun.

I had Nascar 98 for my PS1 and me and my brother would just race backwards against the flow of traffic and see who could do the most laps. Good times.
So are we supposed to ignore the fact Rossi wrecked in the racing thread so we don't have any hurt feelings?
Are we also not supposed to talk about how Ducati screwed him over after he left Yamaha for them?
Maybe I'll pop into some yamaha forums so we can all talk aout how great Repsol Honda is doing.

Me too, I think he was getting frustrated behind Pedrosa and once he passed him I think he was too eager to try and catch Lorenzo. Glad it wasn't a tremendous crash and that he was able to get right up. Although I don't agree that he should have settled for third, he was right in passing Pedrosa IMO.

Was sad to see Rossi crash out at his home GP. My favourite rider, and I have been really hoping he could put together a year where he competed for the championship to cap off a wonderful career. He needs a bunch of top 3 finishes in a row here to get back in the hunt, but frankly, it doesn't look like he has another championship in him.

Too bad Marquez crashed too. I don't know whether he was pushing too hard or what, but he would have been happy with a podium finish. You can't win them all, but you can fall out of the championship hunt pretty quick with too many DNFs. I don't want to see Pedrosa win the championship almost as much as I would hate to see Lorenzo win it again.

Sounds like Suzuki is coming back to motogp in 2014, which is great news for the sport. There are too few competitive teams now, and the series needs all the factory support it can get. I'm a Honda fanboi at heart, but I'd like to see more competition at the manufacturer level, and I think the series desperately needs this as well.

Also good to see the GP13 being a bit more competitive this year. Motogp needs Ducati, and even more they need a competitive Ducati. The Ducati fanboys bring in a lot of cash at the events. The Duc is actually finishing races this year, which is a big positive step in the right direction!

Crutchlow will definitely be on a factory ride next year, but he just might not be with Yamaha. Sounds like he's already fielded offers from Ducati and Suzuki. He'd prefer a Yamaha factory ride over those two.
