From 1987 a 125 Aprilia Tuareg. Youngster in bad company.
From 1999 Suzuki VF 600 R. Nice shape, really quick on Highways. Traveled a lot abroad ( Spain, France, Switzerland, Croatia, Slovenia )
From 2003 Triumph Daytona t595. A real torquey beast. LOVED IT A LOT.

started with a Trail 50, and when that caught on fire, graduated to a 90cc 2 stroke that did nothing but sit in the garage (too much power said the old man). From there it was a TS125 that I sold after only 2 years and nobody to ride with. I was 19 or 20 when I sold it. at 26 bought a used 95 F3, and only after 2 years traded up to a used 95 900RR. Traded that to the 2006 VFR, bought new.

Wow, some of you guys have had a lot of bikes! The VFR is my first sport touring bike. I have had a few cruisers. I sent more time tinkering with them then riding them.

WOW there's some serious machines listed from everyone's past.
I started with a TS 50 it was my most important bike purchase ever.
I thought I was Kingshit I had no idea what I was doing, but what a tangled, messed up, weird relationship between boy and machine.
    Over the years I've had
    250 xl Honda Elsinor
    250 tt Yamaha
    250 pe Suzuki
    850 Norton 1972
    650 xr honda
    250 dr Suzuki
    100 sl Honda
    450x Honda 2007
    750 vfr Honda 1995

The highlighted ones I still have, and the vfr is my latest purchase, I've had it almost 4 months, I bought it from a mates uncle who is 82 he bought it brand new in 1995 when he was 64. The bike has been sitting in his garage for the last 3 years, with no action.
When I picked it up, it had only 10,540 Km on the clock, original set of Bridgestone's which still had plenty of tread but totally useless (rubber was hard as steel) clutch was frozen and brakes were spongy, brought the bike home on a trailer, new set of Pirelli's, new seal kits and fluid for clutch and brakes, new filters and oil, wipe the dust off and a quick polish and I'm ready to rock.

I've come full circle, now I feel like Kingshit again, slightly wiser, ready for another relationship between man & a machine.

Here was my last bike, a 2007 sv650. Loved it! Sad to see it go.

You will be warned that if you do not post pix, promise to name any unborn children be named after characters from Mad Max, Never burn anything but premium in your new bike, never ask questions about oil or tires or how to fix a fried regulator/rectifier you will be just fine. :)

The only bike I had before I bought my 2002 VFR VTEC with ABS was a 2003 Ducati Monster 620 I.E. Dark. Absolutely a blast to ride with a ton of torque for a middleweight v-twin. I loved that bike, but wanted something that was a little heavier and offered better wind protection. When I came across the VFR, I knew I had to have it and I'm glad I got it. It's hard to beat a VFR that does everything well while still being comfortable and sporty at the same time.

My first bike, nearly 12 years ago, was a 93 VFR. I then got a 2002 Yamaha FZ1, which I only had for a couple of years. After that I moved on to a 2002 Honda RC51 SP2 which I had for 6 years, and last week got an 07 VFR.

The FZ was a fantastic bike. Almost bought another one in fact, before I settled on another VFR. So far, I miss the RC51 when I hit a nice stretch of twisties, but for basically anything else aside for setting off car alarms, the VFR is vastly superior.

What I had before my current VFR's, in order, though some were simultaneous:

    '84 Suzuki RG250 Gamma
    '90 Honda VFR750F
    '76 Honda XL125
    '94 Honda VFR750F
    '94 Honda CBR600F
    '94 Honda XR600R
    2000 Honda CBR600F
    2007 Suzuki GSX1400
    '72 Yamaha LS2

Now I still have the GSX1400, plus the current VFR's:
    '95 Honda VFR750F
    '88 Honda VFR750R

I bought the '95 last year after wanting another 4th gen since I sold the last one way back in '94, and the RC30 earlier this year after wanting one for 25 years.

With both of my current VFR's I was worried about being disappointed, but shouldn't have. I wondered if the 4th gen would be as good as I remembered (it is), and if the RC30 would just feel like a 25 year old sports bike (it sort of does, but in the best way imaginable!).

The F2 was a great bike. I still feel a little guilty giving that up for the VFR...

My last bike was a 2013 Moto Guzzi V7 special that I cafe'd out. It was a blast for awhile but it didn't take long for 50 horsepower to stop satisfying the itch. Definitely learned my lesson on buying a new bike that I wasn't going to keep forever...
