Just what i always suggest: wheelies are for fools, showoffs, and kids too stupid to perceive danger.

Nice video, bike was pretty sweet right up till the end. You guys like that lane splitting stuff eh? Don't know if I could get used to that.

Yeah I'm from California so it's legal.. It's not bad, just have to go slow and ride like nobody sees you.

At first it's a little intimidating, but once you get used to it, it becomes second nature. Trick is to always be "on your toes"! If you don't think you could get used to it, all it takes is one time during a major grid lock to where you actually appreciate its benefit and then it's lane splitting anytime there's a slow in traffic.

Justin, sorry you're without your ride, but stunting with your VFR may not have been the best choice of things you could do with it!

The photo at the end is of the bike after-wreck. Mainly only cosmetic damage, however I had to epoxy my clutch cover and buy a new clutch reservoir cap. The left side plastics were fine, as well as the lower cowl, but the right side and the left/right headlight housing fairings were destroyed as well as the windshield, and the dashboard.. I bent it all back into place, and the dash works, although some lights are out and it's all cracked to hell. It's zip tied together currently. There's a small dent in the tank from the clip-on spinning on the fork and being pushed into the tank, and I had to bend the rear brake lever back into place. Also had to get a bar end mirror. But she's running fine again.

I delivered a lot of pizzas to make the money to buy it, and believe me, wrecking something that I took so much pride in, cleaned, torqued every bolt to spec, and made perfect, taught me a sufficient lesson and your internet .02 cents is unnecessary. Thanks for the input, I'm glad you're at least paying attention.

We all make mistakes and shit happens. I low sided my ride because I kept riding on a road that was less than ideal for a street bike, I figured I was far beyond the half way point and kept going, the consequences of which cost me. I was accused of being a BAD owner and didn't deserve to own my bike by one member. That being said, by posting you are opening yourself to comments, some you may like and some you may not, but since you openly admit to doing something that is typically frowned upon, don't expect too much sympathy. All I was saying is that is was probably a bad decision.

Nice vid along with your choice of music, if I may add my two cents, love the checked work-shop floor, but lose them purple nitrile gloves in favour of black ones :vtr2:

Thanks for posting. It takes guts to admit your mistakes. We can all learn from this. Great Video, I look forward to your next one with a "Happy Ending"!

These girls are great, but heavy. Glad you are in one piece and hope you can find affordable plastics.

I might suggest getting a beat to shit 600 for monkeying around on and using the VFR for real riding.

I disagree, I like the purple ones but we can only get blue now.
