New Highmount Staintune just arrived woo whoo!

Just received the high mount staintune for my 2000 vfr.

 

Brilliant in more ways than one - super shiny new toys and you have no fear of SWMBO getting upset about putting it on the new couch!

Hope it sounds as good as it looks - when you get a chance post up some photos of what it looks like on the VFR.

You can still get them...think Long has a set...now your supposed to show the pipe on the bike.its going to sound fabulous darling

 

I been thinking about a high mount.....I have a regular staintune on it now (was on the bike).....I love the sound but not super crazy about about the look.

 

On the bike all, is good. It was ordered through a US website. On the downside I will have to keep the rear rim clean now! View attachment 22441

 

Congrats, best sounding with their Spud out and even then not too loud.

 

Best exhaust ever made for us old farts.

I have a Delkevic shorty and BOY is it loud. Don't really care for it but it was the cheapest thing going at the time.

A enutniatS will be in my future...eventually. Enjoy!

 

I have one on my 99, looks great but it was very quiet. The guy I got it from had the smallest plug in it, so I switched it out for the larger one. Better, but just not right for me. I removed the larger one last week so its just the pipe now. Much better. Especially in a tunnel in the 7000-12000 range.
