    Does anyone know where I can find stripe and decal kit for a 84 vf700f?

    CBdecals are top of the list for me. You might find some on ebay that say they're for the 700F but clearly are poor quality in both accuracy and vinyl material. I guess it depends on how serious you are about the respray. If you're doing a factory restore, the price of this decal kit is very reasonable IMO. I think there is a guy from the UK that is doing some but can't remember his name and I haven't heard reviews of his stuff.

    Full kits including warning labels here...

    Thanks that is exactly what I was looking for. I am having the the whole bike repainted factory colors. Should I have the clear coat put over the decals?

    Yes, his decals can and should be cleared over. Some say to put down a coat of clear before the decals, makes any repairs later on a little less painful. I didn't when I did mine so no biggie if you don't. Wipe the decals down to remove any oils and such before clearing. Can't wait to see it, you better post some pics along the way!
