So when i parked my bike at the end of last year it was running, not well but it was running (link HERE to original thread. Now i try to start it and it just the starter just spins but wont turn over. I've cleaned the carbs out, swapped the sparkplugs (properly gapped). Battery is fresh off the charger. Gas tank was drained and completely filled with gas. Carb bowls have gas and there is spark off all the wires.

There is clearly something major that i'm missing. What is it? No stupid suggestions.

not to be an @$$ but with comments like that don't expect great responses. if you have spark and fuel in the bowls it's not getting into the cylinders, clean the carbs.

Figured i'd update, finally managed to get it started today. Sprayed about 2 cans worth of carb cleaner through every orifice i could find and used some .002" guitar string to poke and prod any left over contaminants. Hosed the intake down with starter fluid and had it running for about 10 min before i had to leave for work. I have a small gas leak aswell so i need to get that figured out tomorrow, hopefully it's just a loose screw.

I've had excellent results with berrymans b12 chemtool. remove anything plastic or rubber or you won't have it anymore. cuts varnish like crazy.

    No more starter fluid !!

That stuff is BAD for pistons, rings, and cylinder walls as it strips off necessary lubrication and cause serious scuffing problems.

The size wire you need to clean your #35 pilot jet is .012" Your .002" wire won't do anything to clean the jets. Don't neglect to put a wire through all the side holes on the emulsion tubes also.

I checked the envelope, it was a .012, not a .002 Had me concerned for a second lol. When i had them apart i basically shoved the wire through every orifice before blasting it our with carb cleaner, so i'm hoping that did the trick. Next step to getting it running is replacing the clutch master cylinder. Bike fell over in storage and snapped the mount for the lever off.

I also have a stupid question, are the levers for the 82-86 750 saber the same as the ones on the interceptor? I found some adjustable shorties on ebay but i want to be sure they'll work before i buy them.
